Embodying Change in Fall
I can’t believe this is the LAST week of October, where is this fall going?!
Currently, I am in awe of the way:
~ the light hits the leaves in the morning day
~ the senescence: changes of the leaves as they gradual breakdown and reveal other pigments
~ the wrestle of the wind and how it brings a natural hum into my apartment
This reminds me we all have other parts of ourselves that we choose to not show, and can reveal new layers of ourselves as we too unfold.
Just like aging, we have a natural way of breaking down old patterns and seeing our dark spots: fears, worries, anxieties, resentments, and embarrassments as a part of us that we can change our perspective.
And when we shine a light on these parts, we are able to see it fully, embrace it, process it, and even heal it, so that we can embody all of us, and not be afraid to unmask and let ourselves be known.
